Bracknell Forest – Business grant – Omicron support

The government has announced further grant funding to support businesses that are experiencing difficulties because of the Omicron variant.
Guidance on the scheme has not yet been released but we understand that rate-paying hospitality and leisure premises will benefit from targeted grant payments at the following levels:
- £2,666 for businesses with a rateable value of £15,000 or under
- £4,000 for businesses with a rateable value between £15,000 and £51,000
- £6,000 for businesses with a rateable value of over £51,000
There will also be further discretionary funding available to support other impacted businesses, such as the Additional Restrictions Grant.
Bracknell Forest understand the urgency of this support to businesses. As soon as they get detailed guidance on how the scheme will operate, we will provide details on how to apply for the grant and start the process of distributing these grants.
We expect to be able to do this early in January.
