How to get your Facebook Group Organised. Introducing Topics.
I’ve something important I’d love to share with you for a moment, let us talk about Topics.
Nope, not the delicious hazelnut and caramel chocolate bar.
They were just to get your attention.
Topics are a great way that Facebook allows us to group together posts on a certain subject within community groups.
We want a Facebook community to be your first port of call when it comes to getting the latest information, whether it’s for your loyal customers and fans, or for members of a club.
✅ You can find the Topic buttons on the right-hand side of the screen when in the community on a PC, alternately, it’s in the centre buttons when on a mobile phone.
👉 You can use it to filter the posts by Topic
👉 You can also add a Topic to your post, even existing posts.
Here is an example of a Facebook community we manage for the British Institute of Professional Photography. If you take a look you will see there’s a heading for each subject and other important information. As time goes by we will be adding more info to each category, but it’s a handy tool.
