Surrey Big Networking Event 2023
Surrey Event Professionals, Surrey Business Expo & Paul Marcus Media bring you the BiS BIG Networking Event.
This popular biannual event is a collaborative networking morning with an expected 200-250 businesses in attendance. In partnership with many local business networking groups and organisations, attendees will experience different networking styles over the morning and on average directly interact with over 70 businesses.
This informal and friendly event is open to ANYÂ businesses in or near Surrey, whether you’re a regular networking or not. It also may be a great way to discover which type and networking groups could benefit your business. As we strongly recommend businesses should be part of a number of different groups to showcase their businesses.
The format of the morning:
- 0830-0915: Early access to the onsite café for informal meetings
- 0830-0915: Official opening, registration & informal networking (with coffees)
- 0920-0930: Welcome, introductions & format explained
- 0930-1010: Networking session ONE (40 minutes)
- 1010-1030: Networking Partners intros
- 1030-1050: Refreshment break
- 1050-1130: Networking session TWO (40 minutes)
- 1130-1210: Networking session THREE (40 minutes)
- 1210-1230: Official end and notices
- 1230: Attendees welcome to continue to networking at the venue cafes & bars

Feedback from last meeting
- Over 95% of attendees rated the event 8 or more out of 10, for value to their business and time
- Approx. 50% had networked before and were members of more than one networking group, 25% were members of one networking, but wanted to explore more connections and 25% had not really networked before and choose this as a taster of networking
- ALL but 1, from the last event would like to come again (we can’t please all!)
